Hah, yeah, right.

Well, the premiere of "Civilization of Doom" passed with an almost completely packed cinema and a lot of cheerful nodding and congratulatory recognition. In other words, people assured us that they'd enjoyed it. I hope that's true. I won't delude myself into thinking that it's a good movie, but we sure couldn't have done it any better with the given time and budget constraints. Although the sound could have been a bit louder, that's the only thing that we should have devoted some extra time to. Oh, well.
Altogether, I think it's a success, and I'm glad that (some, most?) people recognize and appreciate our efforts.
The after-party at S-Co-Bar was just as pleasant, and I've met some interesting people (as well as encountered previous acquaintances who were no less interesting, heh), and hanged out with my colleagues and girlfriend and the rest of the film crew.

Last night I joined the CGSociety forum. Quite and abundance of really amazing talent over there; there's people I recognize from DeviantArt, sure, but so far I haven't encountered *one* anime/manga or Harry Potter fanart! Bliss.

I'm thinking of training myself in speedpainting.

I want a Wacom tablet.

I think I could afford one if I got a job in part-time illustrating or something. Better work on my portfolio, then, and start advertising myself! Go, go, run, run, RUN!!!
